DAN GLUSHEFSKI

Matthew 25:35 Films Founder
Dan Glushefski lives in Clarence Center, NY with his wife, Maria and their 5 children. He has 2 married children and 2 grandchildren that all attend Old Paths Bible Baptist Church in Holley, NY. Dan has been a real estate investor for 35 years.

Dan grew up in an alcoholic home and by the age of 12 was drinking, gambling and hanging out on the streets. Dan was a DI in bootcamp at 18, ran a gambling room at 23 and opened a bar in Bufflo at 24. From the age of 17 to 28 Dan drank every night until one night when God completely changed his life.

At 32 he walked into a Christian church, heard the gospel for the first time and accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior. The Bible says, to he whom has been forgiven much, loveth much. Dan was forgiven of much and embarked on a life's journey to serve the Lord as much as he could with the talents God had given him. God blessed him with a real estate business that started with a mere $2,000 and grew it into a stable company. At 42 Dan went on his first mission trip to Guyana, SA and shortly after was inspired to form the Matthew 25:35 Foundation with the goal of building an orphanage in a third world country which is now the film, Building For God. Since then the Lord has led him on 32 short term mission trips to the poorest countries in the world where he has funded the building of several churches, an orphanage, a Bible College and several water wells.

Dan believes that there are so many amazing true stories of God's mercy, grace and transformation that instead of fiction, film's need to be made telling these stories. His is just one of the many that would give God glory and lead other's to the Lord.
